Washington Football Team linebacker Jon Bostic will have an MRI on Monday for a serious pectoral injury, NFL Network reported.
The 30-year-old team captain sustained the injury during Washington’s 34-30 road victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Bostic left the game with what was initially reported as a shoulder injury. He tallied six tackles to raise his season total to 22 through four starts.
He has recorded 559 tackles, 9.5 sacks and three interceptions in 106 games (81 starts) with the Chicago Bears (2013-14), New England Patriots (2015), Indianapolis Colts (2017), Pittsburgh Steelers (2018) and Washington. He posted 100-plus tackles in each of his first two seasons in the nation’s capital.
