Warriors’ Draymond Green now taking on all of America

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green got into a spat with Toronto Raptors super fan Drake following his team’s loss in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

It was the first Finals victory for a team outside of the United States. One day after the loss, the three-time NBA champ decided it made sense to take on those within the states.

In a way, Green is not wrong here. Most NBA fans in the United States are actually rooting for a Canadian team over the golden boys. It makes sense. Golden State is in the midst of its fifth consecutive NBA Finals appearance. For most, enough is enough.

Though, the always boisterous Green is unlikely to earn many more fans after these comments.

From an on-court standpoint, the forward might have put up a triple-double in Game 1. But he struggled on defense against Raptors star youngster Pascal Siakam. He might want to focus a bit more on that. Just some food for thought.
