Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson hasn’t really been in the news since last suiting up in the league as a member of the Miami Dolphins during training camp back in 2012.
Doing his own thing in Miami, Johnson has been best known for just hanging around South Beach. However, this doesn’t mean the enigmatic personality is minding his P’s and Q’s.
The gossip rag TMZ reported on Wednesday morning that there’s a warrant out for Johnson’s arrest because he failed to show up for a court date stemming from him driving with a suspended licence.

While it’s readily apparent Johnson upset the judge overseeing his case, he can clear his name by paying a $2,000.00 fine—something he indicated his lawyer was in the process of doing.
Johnson currently plays for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, but he was suspended back in May for what appears to be this very same offense.
Remember, the former Pro Bowl receiver was cut by the Dolphins back in 2012 after he was charged with domestic violence against his then-wife, Evelyn Lozada.
