WACH: Reds player trolls Mets fans after game-winning catch

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Cincinnati Reds left fielder Jesse Winker helped preserve a 1-0 lead late in Wednesday’s game against the New York Mets.

Up by just that single run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Winker hauled in a foul ball in sliding fashion to end the game.

As amazing as the play itself was, the youngster’s decision to wave goodbye to Mets fans at Citi Field represented pure savagery.

Check this troll job out in all of its glory.

In addition to making the game-saving catch off the bat of Brandon Nimmo, Winker added a hit and two walks in the Reds’ shoutout win.

Somehow, we don’t think these antics are the end of it. Expect Winker to get the good old Bronx Cheer next time he sets foot in the Big Apple.

Remember, he hit a game-winning homer against these very same Mets just a couple days earlier.
