Based on comments made by Von Miller’s mom it’s safe to say she’s not a fan of Denver Broncos general manager John Elway.
Recently, Elway wouldn’t rule out the possibility of trading Miller, saying “I think Von can play better” and that “we have to look at all the possibilities.”
Well, Mrs. Miller got wind of those comments on an Instagram post and went to town on Elway.

“Von’s not the problem. The problem is Elway,” she wrote. “EVERY QB he’s brought in was a fluke!!”
Additionally, she blasted Elway’s ability to evaluate talent, writing, “He has no clue on drafting at any position.”
It’s worth pointing out that while Miller certainly has a slanted opinion — what mother wouldn’t go to bat for her child? — her points are at the very least somewhat salient.
Elway’s track record at the quarterback position since getting Peyton Manning in Denver is awful.
Paxton Lynch was a disaster. Trevor Siemian was nothing more than a Band-Aid. Case Keenum has been mediocre, at best.
If the Broncos had a top-tier quarterback one would imagine that they’d be in the playoffs, given Miller and his defensive teammates. But that hasn’t happened.
Whether Elway is just bad at evaluating quarterbacks or has just had bad luck remains to be seen. One thing we know for certain is that Miller would be highly coveted if Elway really was serious about trading him. Though that seems highly unlikely, if we’re being honest.
