Von Miller tested positive for COVID-19

Von Miller, the Denver Broncos star outside linebacker, has become the second NFL player to test positive for COVID-19, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The 31-year-old linebacker joins Los Angeles Rams center Brian Allen as the second player with a confirmed case of the coronavirus.

Miller is coming off an outstanding season that saw him make the Pro Bowl for the eighth time in his career. The Super Bowl 50 MVP is at home resting comfortably and seems to be doing well under the circumstances.

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton became the first in the NFL to test positive in March and has since made a full recovery. The NFL has shut down facilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic and practices are not expected to be allowed until all facilities are allowed to open by state officials.

Unfortunately, Miller and Allen likely won’t be the last NFL players to suffer from the coronavirus. According to Johns Hopkins University, there are now more than 650,000 confirmed cases in the United States.
