Denver Broncos star Von Miller exits game with ankle injury

The Denver Broncos rely on Von Miller and their defense pretty much more than any other team in the NFL. That was apparent Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns with Denver’s offense unable to score a single point in the first half.

In the midst of a three-game losing streak, Denver also received some bad news during the game. Miller exited with what was described as an ankle injury. After initially being listed as questionable, the Broncos ruled the former Super Bowl MVP out for the remainder of the game.

Von Miller got X-rays in the locker room before being ruled out and will obviously undergo further tests on Friday.

With fellow pass rusher Bradley Chubb already sidelined, this is pretty bad news for a reeling Broncos squad. Miller, 32, missed the entire 2020 campaign due to an ankle injury. The future Hall of Famer had recorded eight quarterback hits and 4.5 sacks in six games heading into Thursday night’s contest.
