Buffalo Bills star and future Hall of Famer Von Miller talked with media for the first time on Thursday since he was arrested on domestic violence charges late last month.

The allegations against this former Super Bowl MVP were damning. Despite this, he continues to suit up for the Bills as the legal situation plays out.

The former Texas A&M star denied the allegations in a full-throated manner.

“Obviously, there are things that I can’t talk about but everything that was out is completely wrong and blown out of proportion,’ Von Miller told reporters.

“Me and my girlfriend, we have problems just like any other couple does but there has never been any of those things that was alleged against me. Hopefully, over time all of this stuff will get cleared up. Sometimes life just… be life-ing. You’ve just got to keep pushing and keep moving. The people who know me and the people who have been around me know my character, they know who I am.”

Miller, 34, turned himself in to police immediately after being charged in response to an arrest warrant in a domestic violence case involving his pregnant girlfriend, according to the Glenn Heights Police Department in suburban Dallas.

The arrest warrant was obtained after Miller’s long-time girlfiend alleged that he put his hands around her throat, pulled her hair and attempted to shove her as she tried to leave the residence.

According reports, the warrant came with a charge of assaulting a pregnant person. That’s a third-degree felony in the state of Texas.

“All of it is incorrect. I don’t know what else … you know, it’s not a funny situation, but all of it is incorrect and all of it is untrue. The only thing that is true is we do have a third son on the way. … Everything else is untrue,” Miller said.

It was back in 2021 that Miller found himself under criminal investigation by authorities in Colorado when he was a member of the Denver Broncos. Authorities did not disclose what the investigation was about and opted against moving forward with charges.

Miller is currently playing under a six-year, $120 million contract he signed with Buffalo back in March of 2022. He’s played in 11 games this season, failing to record a single sack.

Buffalo is slated to take on the New England Patriots Sunday afternoon as the 9-6 team vies for a spot in the AFC Playoffs.
