Vancouver Canucks forward Adam Gaudette tested positive for COVID-19 and will enter the NHL’s health and safety protocol, coach Travis Green announced Tuesday.

Green said that Gaudette was removed from practice on Tuesday.

“Adam had a positive test come in this morning,” said Green, “and we are following NHL protocol and he left the ice.”

Gaudette, 24, logged 11:10 of ice time in the Canucks’ last game, a 5-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets last Wednesday. Vancouver returns to action on Wednesday against the visiting Calgary Flames.
