World Cup in Russia

Cutting cords comes at a cost. For soccer fans the world over, this came out in a big way during the World Cup Semifinal match between England and Croatia on Wednesday.

Those who tuned into the game on YouTube TV were thrown for a loop when the broadcast of the game went down completely.

As of noon pacific time, thousands were impacted.

The reactions to this tweet from YouTube TV’s official account tells us a story of frustrated cord cutters.

They also ended up issuing an apology.

For what it’s worth, England took a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. A win here, and they will take on France in the final.

Let’s just hope YouTube gets its act together here soon.
