The COVID-19 pandemic that has New York on its knees has hit the sports world once again, as ESPN shared two of its New York City-based employees have tested positive for the coronavirus.

John Ourand of Sports Business Journal shared the breaking news Sunday.

New York is currently the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.

According to the latest information from Johns Hopkins University, 15,782 people in New York have tested positive for COVID-19. From the same report, 31,057 Americans have tested positive for COVID-19 as of Sunday afternoon, with the coronavirus pandemic claiming 390 lives in this nation so far.
