Ugly scene unfolds in Oakland after Raiders’ final home game

Raiders fans Oakland

The Oakland Raiders hoped to remain very much alive in the AFC West playoff race with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

It did not happen. After dominating throughout the entire game, Oakland allowed Jacksonville to come back for a shocking win. This pretty much ends any hope that the Raiders will be playing postseason football.

It’s also not the only story from Northern California. Rather, Sunday’s game represented the final game for the Raiders in Oakland ahead of relocating to Las Vegas next season.

The scene was somber as the game wrapped up. In fact, Raiders fans legit booed their team off the field.

Having been in Oakland for the past quarter century after a brief relocation to Los Angeles, this had to be hard for fans in Northern California.

We’ve known for years that the 2019 campaign would be the Raiders’ final one in Oakland. That doesn’t make it any easier.

Here are some images from the scene at Oakland Coliseum.
