Mohammed Seisay

This is a reminder that football is football. The violence of the sport does not discriminate, no matter the level.

Seattle Dragons cornerback Mohammed Seisay found that out first-hand during Saturday’s XFL game against the St. Louis BattleHawks.

Seisay had to be stretchered off the field after a violent head-on collision.

The good news here is that Seisay did give a thumbs up to fans in St. Louis while he was taken to the locker room. That’s always a great sign.

The XFL does have rules in place to protect its players. But they are nowhere near as strict as the NFL. That’s for sure.
