Tyreek Hill not upset about having beer thrown on him

When Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill scored a go-ahead touchdown late in the fourth quarter on Sunday, most people were in awe over just how brilliant of a play it was.

Lost in all of this was the fact that a New England Patriots fan at Gillette Stadium threw beer on Hill after he scored the touchdown (watch here).

One day removed from that ugly incident, Hill himself doesn’t seem to be too bothered by the massive show of disrespect.

“My coach told me, don’t get emotional, don’t get mad about it. It comes with the territory, you know? I’m not mad at all,” Hil said, via Vahe Gregorian of the Kansas City Star.

He’s a better man than most. It also shows a certain level of maturity form a young man who entered the league back in 2016 with some major off-field red flags.

Hill, 24, put up seven receptions for 142 yards and three touchdown in Sunday night’s narrow 43-40 loss to the Patriots. He’ll be just fine on the field moving forward.
