Tyrann Mathieu Locks Self in Hot Car to Raise Awareness for PETA

After major off-field issues during his college career, Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu has turned into a pretty cool guy in the NFL. Sober and turning the page from that dark part of his life, Honey Badger also continues to do some pretty great stuff within the community.

In conjunction with the animal-rights group PETA, Mathieu recently locked himself in a hot car with the windows rolled all the way up.

The video itself is rather stunning:

Mathieu was in the car for nearly nine minutes with the temperature reaching 120 degrees.

This demonstration shows us just how much being locked in a car during the summer months can impact a grown adult. Now imagine a dog without the ability to sweat being put in this situation.

Unfortunately, this is an all-too-common occurrence around the world. Parents have also been known to accidentally lock their young infants in a hot car with the windows rolled up.

Considering Honey Badger has some clout in the desert of Arizona, this demonstration should be widely distributed among the masses.

Good for you, kind sir.
