Before returning to baseball on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Angels and Texas Rangers paid tribute to Tyler Skaggs.

The teams honored Skaggs, who died suddenly on Monday, with a moment of silence.

The tributes didn’t stop there.

Teammates Andrew Heaney and Cam Bedrosian carried Skaggs’ jersey with them onto the field. The Rangers also put Skaggs’ number 45 on the mound.

Elsewhere in MLB, Washington Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, a longtime friend of Skaggs, is wearing No. 45 for Tuesday’s outing. He also wrote No. 45 behind the mound.
