Twitter reacts to NFL Draft being held virtually

2020 NFL Draft

The 2020 NFL Draft will start as planned on April 23 despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic plaguing the United States.

It won’t be like what we’ve seen in the past. The league announced on Monday that said draft will be held 100% virtually with team headquarters closed indefinitely.

The idea of getting your sports fix during these most difficult of times sits well with some fans. It’s a way to get our minds off the toll this virus is taking on Americans and those around the world. For others, the NFL is being tone-deaf holding the annual event as the deal toll in the United States surpasses 10,000.

Either way, the sports world had its reactions to Monday’s announcement.
