The 2020 NFL Draft will start as planned on April 23 despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic plaguing the United States.

It won’t be like what we’ve seen in the past. The league announced on Monday that said draft will be held 100% virtually with team headquarters closed indefinitely.

The idea of getting your sports fix during these most difficult of times sits well with some fans. For others, the NFL is being tone-deaf holding the annual event as the deal toll in the United States surpasses 10,000.

Either way, the sports world had its reactions to Monday’s announcement.
