The good news for the Houston Astros is that they have plenty of time to overcome a rough start to Game 5 of the World Series. The bad news? It couldn’t have gone much worse.
Los Angeles Dodgers’ second baseman got the scoring going with a two-out, two-run single.

It appeared as though Houston starter Dallas Keuchel had gotten out of the jam when he had Forsythe picked off of first. but a poor throw from Yuli Gurriel now only allowed Forsythe to score, but also brought a third run in.

The Astros are a mess right now. Clayton Kershaw has a 3-0 lead. The last two games are at Dodger Stadium. None of this bodes well.

Well, that’s not very nice. But in the first inning, it was awfully hard to argue with.
The good news for Houston is that even against Clayton Kershaw, Houston’s offense is more than capable of coming back. But if the very capable Los Angeles order swings the bat like it can, things could get worse.
