Blake Bortles has long been known for being the biggest reason why the Jacksonville Jaguars stink to high heaven. On Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he wasn’t on point for much of the game but did come through in the clutch with some amazing throws, and a 14-yard touchdown to Tommy Bohanon to put the Jags up 42-28 over Pittsburgh.

Just before this, Bortles connected with T.J. Yeldon on a 40-yard pass on third down, showing off tremendous poise.

Previously, Bortles had connected with Keelan Cole on a 45-yard bomb to set up an earlier score, too.

Being that most of us are more used to seeing Bortles throw the ball to the other team in crucial situations, this was an incredible development. Twitter users all over the place were stunned by Bortles’ coming through when it mattered most.
