The top-two coaches favored to win NFL Coach of the Year in 2020 have one thing in common. Legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

One of them coached Brady for the past 20 years, winning six Super Bowls. The other just signed the future Hall of Famer and has Super Bowl expectations in 2020.

The latest odds for NFL Coach of the Year (via BetOnline.ag) have New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians atop the board.

It’s a bit surprising to see coaches like John Harbaugh and Sean Payton so far down this list. It’s not so surprising to see new Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy near the top.

Though, it’s absolutely bonkers to think that Belichick is so highly thought-of that he’s favored to win this award after Brady left him high and dry after two decades. Just goes to show what a legend the coach is all by himself. And how many seem to think it was Belichick — not Brady — making those championships happen all along.
