And the whole world is going to burn down. It’s happening. Beware.
New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler took to social media on Tuesday to deny reports that his actions off the field led to him being benched for Super Bowl LII on Sunday. He also apparently bid farewell to an organization he helped win two Super Bowls (more on that post here).
It now looks like Patriots quarterback Tom Brady likes what he saw in the Butler social media post. Almost literally.

Read into this what you want. Maybe Brady is simply showing support for his soon-to-be former teammate. It’s also possible he’s joining in the growing chorus questioning head coach Bill Belichick’s decision to bench the starting corner ahead of the team’s Super Bowl LII loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Now entering the NFL offseason, this topic will soon take over the news cycle. That will be magnified once more information comes out regarding the situation itself. For now, have fun debating what this means.
