The NFL world got big news Monday when the Los Angeles Chargers and Philip Rivers agreed to part ways. Tom Brady certainly noticed.

On social media Monday after the news broke, Brady “liked” an NFL Instagram post sharing the news that Rivers will not return to the Chargers in 2020.

Now, that could be interpreted as Brady offering his support to Rivers. But given all the rumors that Brady could end up playing for the Chargers in 2020, it’s hard not to look at it from the perspective that Brady is excited for an opening in Southern California.

Either way, it’s clear that Brady is tuned into the NFL landscape right now. Set to become a free agent in March, he’s already heard from the Patriots, who want him to test the market. Stay tuned!
