The New England Patriots may or may not be dealing with complicated internal matters, but Tom Brady is ready for their first game of the NFL playoffs.
Brady posted a quote on Instagram that is sure to rile up the NFL world, whether it means something or not.
“Fate whispers to the warrior, ‘You cannot withstand the storm.’ The warrior whispers back, ‘I am the storm.'”
Maybe he’s talking about the reported rift between himself, Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft. Perhaps he’s talking about the playoffs.
Could be both. Might be neither.
But there’s no question Patriots fans believe this means Brady is locked in, ready to conquer the NFL world for the third time in four years and earn a sixth championship.
Brady and New England will host the Tennessee Titans on Saturday.
