After suffering a quad injury in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley is now doubtful to play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Gurley exited Los Angeles’ game against the Seahawks after taking several hits to his quadriceps. While the team thought it might be minor at the time, the pain carried over this week and kept him out of practice.

If Gurley is unable to play on Sunday, Malcolm Brown will likely receive a majority of the touches in the backfield. Rookie running back Darrell Henderson, who has seen limited snaps this year, would also likely see extended opportunities.
