Titans RB Derrick Henry in walking boot after suffering injury

This is not news that the Tennessee Titans wanted to hear at the start of training camp.

Starting running back Derrick Henry left Friday’s practice with what appeared to be a foot injury.

One day later, Titans beat writer Terry McCormick is reporting that Henry was seen around the facility in a walking boot.

Given that head coach Mike Vrabel previously downplayed the significance of the injury, this can’t be seen as great news.

Henry, 25, recorded 1,158 total yards and 12 touchdowns at a clip of 5.0 yards per touch last season.

Tennessee is relying on him to help struggling quarterback Marcus Mariota on offense this coming season.
