The Texas Rangers placed outfielder Willie Calhoun on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a fracture of the ulna bone in his left forearm.

Martin, 25, batted .171 with one homer and four RBIs in 20 games earlier this season with Texas. He is a .188 hitter with one homer and six RBIs in 47 career games with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Rangers.
