Texans’ Deshaun Watson helping hurricane victims refurnish homes

Deshaun Watson

Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson is quite an amazing guy. Back in September, Watson donated his first NFL paycheck to the cafeteria workers at NRG Stadium. Many were impacted financially when Hurricane Harvey hit.

Well, the random acts of kindness from Watson have not stopped. The young quarterback is reportedly partnering with Ashley HomeStore to help hurricane victims refurnish their homes.

How amazing is this? These efforts, in combination with the millions of dollars teammate J.J. Watt helped raise for Hurricane Harvey victims, speaks volumes about how the Texans’ players care for their community.

Watson is not only a bright star in his community, he is dazzling on the field and embracing his starting role in a big way. The quarterback has put up an absurd 10 total touchdowns over the past two games.

We wish Watson years of success in the NFL. And, we are sure he will put smiles on the faces of those he is helping in his latest charitable effort.
