Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs is suing the estate of late agent Gary Wichard who negotiated his previous six-year, $62.5 million extension back in 2009.
When Wichard passed away back in 2011, his firm sent Suggs to another agent. And according to the outspoken Ravens linebacker, that new agent was “inexperienced and unqualifed.”
In suing Wichard’s estate, Suggs claims that the deceased agent has not provided any services to the football player since his passing. That statement can be neatly wrapped up and put into the “duh” category.
Wichard’s estate had previously demanded $192,000 from Suggs—a total the veteran linebacker refused to pay. Once that specific issue went to an arbitrator, Suggs was forced to pay the estate.
Suggs suit is an attempt to recoup the $192,000 from Wichard’s estate.
