Terrell Owens hits back at Jerry Jones for saying skipping HOF is a ‘mistake’

On Wednesday, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones commented that Terrell Owens is “making a mistake” by not attending the Hall of Fame induction ceremony in August.

Owens got wind of this and had a rather pointed response.

Owens hasn’t been bashful about bashing anyone who bashes him of late. He’s also clearly still bitter that he wasn’t a first-ballot Hall of Famer, and honestly it’s hard to blame him for that.

With 1,078 catches for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdown receptions in his career, Owens is one of the most legendary receivers in the history of the game. Yet due to what many Hall of Fame voters felt wasn’t team-centric conduct by Owens, he was snubbed in 2017.

So, while the rest of his class hangs out in Canton for the Hall of Fame weekend, Owens will be celebrating his induction where it began for him in college.
