Terrance Knighton reminds RGIII of big hit in birthday wish

Terrance Knighton wanted to wish Robert Griffin III a happy birthday on Friday. But he also didn’t want his current teammate to forget about a hit that knocked RG3 out of a 2013 game.

Ouch. That certainly doesn’t look like it would have felt good for Griffin.

For his part, RG3, who turned 26 on Friday, seemed to have a good sense of humor about the hit.

Discussion of that hit is not new for Knighton and Griffin, as Knighton has previously said that the two “talk about it all the time.”

For now, Griffin and Knighton are teammates with the Washington Redskins, though it would be very surprising if Griffin is still on the Redskins by March 9.
