The Tennessee Titans activated veteran punter Brett Kern off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday.

Kern, 35, was placed on the list Oct. 12 and missed the Titans’ 34-31 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

The three-time Pro Bowl selection had also missed the previous two games with a right groin injury. He was replaced by Johnny Townsend, who was waived earlier this week.

Kern, an All-Pro in 2019, joined the Titans in 2009 after spending parts of two seasons with the Denver Broncos. He’s averaged 46.0 yards per punt over his career and is averaging 47.8 yards per punt so far this season.
