Tom Brady showed us all something in Week 5. He may be 39, but he’s still got it. Teammate Matthew Slater offered a humorous explanation for Brady’s seemingly ageless quality.

That would actually explain a lot of things. It does seem true that the older Brady has gotten, the better he’s been.
Fellow legend Peyton Manning was 39 this past year. And while he won the Super Bowl, Manning’s 2015 season never featured a game anywhere near as good as Brady’s Week 5 effort.
It may baffle the science world, but Brady aging in reverse is about as good of an explanation as we’ve heard.
Brady threw for over 400 yards and three scores in his return from a four-game suspension on Sunday.
