Teammate Calls Aaron Rodgers’ Jokes “Algebra 2”

Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers is only 31-years-old. However, his jokes seem to go over most of his teammate’s heads. Both John Kuhn and Daryn Colledge addressed Rodgers’ quirky sense of humor with these comical comments (via NFL.com).

He does make jokes that fall on deaf ears. But that’s what happens when you make a lot of jokes.
His jokes are what we call ‘Algebra 2. I think a lot of people don’t get it.

At 31, Rodgers is the third oldest member of the team, so apparently he likes pulling the wool over some of the younger player’s eyes. Sometimes it’s showing a picture of John F. Kennedy or another icon from the past to rookie teammates asking them to identify the the image. Or he has been known to walk around reciting aristocratic phrases from the 1987 movie “The Princess Bride,” which leaves most teammates clueless. One of Rodgers’ favorites is to just stare at a teammate with a look of disgust until the poor guy asks Rodgers what’s wrong for which Rodgers then just busts out laughing.

Luckily it’s not Algebra 2, so the younger fellows hopefully can wing it and pretend like they get Rodgers’ unique sense of humor.
