Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has not played since spraining his ankle on December 4. On Saturday, coach Steve Kerr said that while Curry has yet to play 3-on-3, he is improving.

This more or less goes in line with the team’s last injury update on Curry.
The good news for Golden State is that Curry’s absence has not hurt the team on the court. The Warriors enter Saturday’s game against the Denver Nuggets on an 11-game winning streak. Each of the last seven wins have come with Curry sidelined.
Certainly, Golden State wants to get Curry back. But given his history with ankle injuries, the team’s success without him, and that the Warriors still have the NBA’s best record, expect them to be conservative in bringing back the two-time MVP.
