The Golden State Warriors are one step closer to getting star point guard Stephen Curry back onto the court. On Saturday, head coach Steve Kerr told reporters that Curry has been fully cleared for contact and scrimmaged on Saturday.
This is a huge step for Curry to get back onto the court. He’s been out since last October when he broke his wrist on a gnarly-looking injury, which required a couple of surgeries.
Golden State could certainly use Curry in the lineup. The Warriors remain the worst team in the NBA with a 12-44 record, though that may be perfect for the team’s long-term plans.
