Steelers, Browns players speak out on Mason Rudolph allegations

A pretty huge report broke earlier on Thursday indicating that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph allegedly used racial slurs against Myles Garrett in the lead up to last week’s brawl on Cleveland.

With the Browns’ defensive end having appealed an indefinite suspension, these new allegations add another layer to the entire drama.

Upon hearing of the serious allegations, Rudolph’s teammates with the Steelers spoke out big time. Members of the Cleveland Browns were also seemingly thrown for a loop by the allegations.

Here are some of the reactions.

For his part, Rudolph was scheduled to meet with the media after Thursday’s practice. That has now been cancelled.

His lawyer is strongly denying these allegations, too.

It’s certainly something that will add a new layer to one of the ugliest incidents we’ve seen on an NFL field in some time.
