Houston Rockets superstar Russell Westbrook announced on his Instagram account Monday that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The good news is that Westbrook says he’s “currently feeling well.” He implored everyone to “Please take this virus seriously. Be safe. Mask up!”

Westbrook also intends to rejoin his teammates in Orlando after his quarantine is over. So, the coronavirus clearly hasn’t diminished his passion to play amid the pandemic.

As news of Westbrook’s positive COVID-19 test circulated on social media, the NBA community sent well wishes, along with some other strong reactions.
