Sean O’Malley did not waste any time disposing of Eddie Wineland Saturday night in what could be a precursor to a future title fight in the bantamweight division.

The undefeated O’Malley took Wineland out in Round 1 of their UFC 250 fight Saturday night in Las Vegas via a brutal right hand. Even the empty venue at the Apex in Vegas didn’t deter from the shock factor.

O’Malley, 25, moved to 12-0 in his professional career and could very well battle for the bantamweight title in his next fight following the shocking retirement of Henry Cejudo after his UFC 249 win last month.

Needless to say, the sports world had its reactions to O’Malley’s dominance of Wineland.
