Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been ruled out for Wednesday night’s game against the visiting Indiana Pacers due to left foot soreness.
Embiid had been listed as questionable. Embiid was also listed as questionable for Monday’s game against New Orleans, though for lower back soreness. He played and dropped 42 points in Philly’s 120-111 win.
Sixers coach Doc Rivers said Embiid is day to day, but the injury is not considered serious.
Embiid is averaging a career-high 33.5 points per game this season. He also averages 9.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.
