The 2020 MLS season is expected to get going at Walt Disney World in Orlando on July 8. Of course, that could all be clouded by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic plaguing the United States.

Six FC Dallas players test positive for COVID-19

This would qualify as some pretty bad news around the soccer world. It was previously noted by Major League Soccer that only four players had tested positive for the virus out of nearly 400 that were tested.

MLS season set to resume in a bubble at Walt Disney World

It’s not yet known how this latest information is going to impact the season resuming in a week. All 26 teams are slated to take part in the restart of the campaign.

The season will be in tournament format and is expected to conclude on August 11. It will coincide with the NBA resuming its season at Walt Disney World on July 30.
