Those hoping to get a glimpse of Los Angeles Angels rookie pitcher Shohei Ohtani now know where his next start will come from. Ohtani will pitch on Friday, but in the Halos’ more controlled B game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
#Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Shohei Ohtani will start on Friday against the Brewers in a B game in Maryvale. He will throw about 45 pitches. They can control the game to ensure he gets 3 innings.

Another option would have had Ohtani pitch in the less controlled Major League game against the Chicago Cubs.
Ohtani will look to build off of his first spring start, which was something of a mixed bag. There, he went 1.1 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits, one walk, with two strikeouts. That outing also came against the Brewers.
