Seton Hall has forfeited Monday’s home game against St. John’s due to COVID-19 issues in the Pirates’ program.

Due to Big East policy, St. John’s will be credited with a conference victory and Seton Hall will get a loss. Both teams’ overall records will remain the same, as NCAA policy terms the canceled game as a “no contest.”

The Pirates are 9-1 overall, while the Red Storm are 8-2.

Seton Hall previously canceled Saturday’s nonconference game against Iona at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The Pirates are next slated to play on Thursday at DePaul.

St. John’s will face Pitt on Saturday in a nonconference game, then open its Big East schedule at home against Butler on Thursday.
