Saints, NFL Draft

As speculation begins on Antonio Brown’s next landing spot following his release from the Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton made sure no one ever considers the Saints.

When a reporter asked Brown about Brown’s release, the veteran coach quickly shot down the slightest hope of signing him with a response that perfectly captured the team’s view of Brown.

While Brown is one of the NFL’s most talented players and could sign an affordable deal with the contender, New Orleans clearly views the distractions he brings far outweigh the benefits.

The Saints are going to have one of the NFL’s best offenses even without Brown and are likely hoping their young wide receivers step up more this season.
