Russell Wilson gifted $12K worth of Amazon stock to his offensive linemen

After securing the richest contract in NFL history, Russell Wilson is giving back to some of the men who helped him achieve it.

Wilson gifted each of his 13 offensive linemen $12,000 worth of Amazon stock for a grand total of $156,000 spent, TMZ Sports shared.

In a letter that Wilson sent to his teammates, he expressed his gratitude to them.

“Every Sunday we go to battle together. You sacrifice your physical and mental well-being to protect me, which in turn allows me to provide and care for my family. This does not go unnoticed and it is never forgotten.”

He also explained why he chose the gift he did.

“When I sat down to think of ways to honor your dedication a dozen different ideas came to mind. Some were flashy, some were cool, but I wanted to give you something that had a lasting impact. Something that would affect the lives of you, your family, and your children.”

“You have invested in my life … this is my investment into yours.”

It’s a classy gesture, to be sure.

Quarterbacks get all the glory, yet they’d have none of it without the help of their teammates who battle in the trenches. Wilson clearly gets that.
