New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones will miss Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys as he continues to battle a neck injury, multiple outlets reported Tuesday.

An evaluation by a spine specialist on Monday led to the decision, and his status continues to be week-to-week, per reports. He has not been cleared for contact.

Jones has missed the past two games since sustaining the injury in a 13-7 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 28. Veteran Mike Glennon is expected to start Sunday for the Giants (4-9) against the Cowboys in East Rutherford, N.J.

Jones, 24, is in his third season with New York, which selected him No. 6 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. On the season, he has completed 64.3 percent of his passes for 2,428 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Since replacing Eli Manning as the starting quarterback, he has a 12-25 career record. In 38 career games (37 starts), Jones has thrown for 8,398 yards with 45 touchdowns and 29 interceptions.
