As the 2016 NFL trade deadline draws closer, many teams once considered to be major players in the market continue to fall off.

One team that is still desperately attempting to make a key trade is the Minnesota Vikings.

After a very rough Monday night loss to the Chicago Bears, Jason Cole of BleacherReport stated the Vikings were attempting to create cap space to help facilitate a trade for an offensive lineman.

After reports surfaced last week that the Seahawks, Vikings and Colts were expected to be major players as the trade deadline (more on that here), rumors continue to swirl as to who will be going where.

While the Vikings have less than $500,000 in cap space, they are actively seeking ways to alleviate the cap pressure and make a move for a top-tier offensive lineman.

This will definitely be a storyline to watch as the deadline draws near.
