Report: Tom Brady and Bill Belichick did not talk earlier this week

The situation surrounding six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and his New England Patriots will soon come to a culmination.

An impending free agent, Brady will hit the open market in exactly two weeks. There’s been speculation that his relationship with the Patriots is not great and that the future Hall of Famer could sign with another team.

It was reported earlier on Wednesday that Brady had spoken to Patriots head coach Bill Belichick a day earlier. The conversation apparently did not go too well.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is now pushing back against said report, indicating that the two did not speak on Tuesday Schefter noted that Brady and Belichick did talk recently and the conversation was “business as usual.”

That’s a mighty big contrast from the report earlier on Wednesday.

Things are moving rapidly as it relates to Brady. The Las Vegas Raiders are seen as favorites to land him should the future Hall of Famer leave New England. Though, the Tennessee Titans also seem to be a logical fit.

More recently, Brady was linked to the San Francisco 49ers. That took another turn on Wednesday with reports that the 49ers are not expected to chase after Brady.

As it is, this thing will come to a culmination here soon. Until then, enjoy the rumors.
