On Sunday, it was reported that Terrell Suggs could decide not to report if any team other than the Baltimore Ravens picked him up off waivers. Then, on Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs called his bluff and claimed the seven-time Pro Bowler.

On Monday night, just after Drew Brees broke Peyton Manning’s all-time touchdown record, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Suggs will, in fact, report to Kansas City and play for the Chiefs.

This was a huge move by Kansas City, both to block its top threat in the AFC from getting better, and because now they have added a key weapon heading inot the playoffs.

Suggs, 37, still has some gas left in the tank. He tallied 5.5 sacks in 13 games with the Arizona Cardinals before surprisingly being released last week.
