Report: Teams have called Texans about DeAndre Hopkins

It appears that teams are shooting their shot two days before the NFL trade deadline.

According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, other teams are calling up the Houston Texans about star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

As Glazer notes, Hopkins is not currently on the block and it would take a massive offer to pry him away from the Texans.

There’s legitimately no reason for Houston to even entertain offers for its most-talented player outside of Deshaun Watson.

The Texans currently sit at 4-3 on the season and a half game behind the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South.

More importantly, the 27-year-old Hopkins remains a core member of the team. He’s put up 49 receptions for 508 yards in seven games this season and is averaging 1,327 yards over the past five seasons.

The Texans have been active on the trade market. We get it. However, moving Hopkins would take a monumental offer.
