The New England Patriots continue to lose contributors on both sides of the ball thus far this month. It obviously starts with six-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady heading to Tampa Bay.

But that’s not the extent of it. New England has now lost 27-year-old wide receiver Phillip Dorsett to the Seattle Seahawks, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

Dorsett was originally acquired by New England from the Indianapolis Colts in the Jacoby Brissett trade ahead of the 2017 season. He ended up recording 73 receptions for 881 yards and eight touchdowns while starting eight games.

Reports indicate that it’s a three-year deal for Dorsett in the Pacific Northwest.

This is yet another example of Seattle attempting to provide quarterback Russell Wilson with more weapons. The Hawks previously signed Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen following his release from the Carolina Panthers.
